Dable, was a major in the army when he was 19 years old, serving for 17 years and leaving in 2013. He returned to his ancestral home in the Airmakhue area, where his family owned 3,700 acres of terraced farmland that had been in the family for 300 years. His dream was to reforest his lands, creating a self-sufficient homestay now known as Mountain Agro Resort and Lodge. His main focus has been on planting kiwi plants; to date, he has planted over 3,000 kiwi plants, a mixture of red and green. The red ones are used to make local wines, while the green ones are sold in local markets and in Kathmandu. He has also planted lemon, almond, apricot, and tea. His farming practices are organic and sustainable, setting a shining example to follow the best practices. In addition to being completely self-sufficient in vegetables for the lodge, he has won several awards for his farming efforts.
