We’re thrilled to share that Nepal Evergreen, our volunteer-run initiative in partnership with Juniper Trust, continues to make strong progress planting a diverse range of trees across rural Nepal. As we finalise our third year of planting, we’re proud to confirm that we have reached our target of 35,000 trees planted by the end of Year 3.
Our 2023 monsoon planting programme included the delivery of 3,000 fruit trees, with species carefully chosen for resilience, local livelihoods, and biodiversity, including Sichuan pepper, avocado, pear, bamboo, mandarin, coffee, lemon, walnut, and lokta.
Alongside this, we are planting 10,000 tea saplings in the Kinja Valley, helping to empower local communities, create sustainable income opportunities, and support long-term land restoration.
Join us in our mission to combat climate change, restore biodiversity, and promote environmental sustainability. By donating to this worthwhile project, you can help support Nepal’s rural communities while offsetting your carbon footprint. Every contribution truly matters. 🌏💚
