In Bhupsa, Solukhumbu, we found one in Mr. Pasang Nuru Sherpa — a passionate local farmer, deeply connected to his land, and a man who has guided others to the top of the world 16 times on Mount Everest.

Today, he stands not on a summit, but on his home ground — gently and purposefully — a guardian of tomorrow’s forest, committed to nurturing each sapling with care, patience, and responsibility.

Before planting begins, we start with the groundwork: digging, observing, and collecting soil samples to understand the land’s carbon levels and overall health.

Nepal Evergreen plans to plant 5,000 trees on this land, a carefully balanced mix of fruit trees and native species. The fruit trees will help strengthen the farm’s long-term economy, while native trees support natural regeneration and reforestation of the surrounding landscape.

This careful preparation ensures that every tree we plant has the right conditions to grow strong and resilient — contributing not just to the land today, but to meaningful, long-term carbon restoration for the future.

🌱 Help us plant and protect 5,000 trees in Bhupsa. Any donation — no matter how small — makes a real difference, supporting farmers like Pasang and helping restore forests, livelihoods, and carbon-rich landscapes for generations to come.

🍎 Fruit trees: walnut, pear, peach, apple
🌿 Soil & shade trees: alder, bamboo
🌲 Native species: rhododendron, oak, juniper

Restoring land, strengthening ecosystems, and supporting local communities — one tree at a time.
