With the help of farmer Dabal Basnet, Nepal Evergreen has delivered and planted 1,000 fruit tree saplings in Bhussinga, including a mixture of Peach, Apricot, Cherry, and Pear. The trees cost $2,500, averaging $2.50 per tree. Fruit trees contribute to environmental sustainability by preventing soil erosion, improving biodiversity, and promoting sustainable land management practices. There is a demand for these fruits in local markets due to their nutritional value and taste, creating market opportunities for growers. We extend our thanks to all donors whose contributions made this initiative possible.
