🌿 Greening Landruk for a Sustainable Future 🌿
We’re excited to launch a meaningful initiative supported by Nepal Evergreen, in partnership with Mountain Lodges of Nepal, focused on environmental restoration and sustainable agriculture in the scenic village of Landruk (1,565m), nestled in Nepal’s Annapurna region. 🏔
Known for its stunning views, rich Gurung heritage, and wild honey-harvesting traditions, Landruk is now taking bold steps toward a more sustainable future — led by a resilient community of retired Gurkhas and eco-conscious farmers. 🌱
🌱 Target: 2,000 trees
📅 Planting time: May – June 2025
💰 Budget: $3,000
🌳 Tree varieties include:
Lemon, Orange, Mango, Guava, Sichuan Pepper, Fig, Peach, Bamboo, Kiwi, Apple, Pear, Mulberry, Coffee, Walnut, Cardamom, Banana, Macadamia, and Pecan.
✅ Planting across 25 farms, with potential for expansion

This project is more than planting trees — it’s about reviving ecosystems, strengthening food security, and empowering local communities in the Himalayas.
