On 20th July 2025, during Nepal’s vital monsoon planting season, Rashila Kamang Tamang delivered 1,300 fruit trees — including lemon, lychee, amla, walnut, pomegranate, jackfruit, guava, and avocado — to the communities of Khukurechaur, Kot Danda, and Dhunibesi, Dhading.
The trees are being planted by local families, carefully distributed to homes, the hospital, and the school where Rashila studied. With strong local commitment, we’re aiming for an almost 100% success rate.
This phase was made possible through Rashila’s incredible effort — she raised 50% of the $1,000 needed to fund the trees. The remaining 50% was generously supported by Nepal Evergreen.
Rashila continues to run to raise more funds, planting hope and driving change in her community — supporting local livelihoods, enhancing biodiversity, and contributing to carbon sequestration for a healthier future.
