Nepal Evergreen Welcomes Raju to the Team

Raju Khatri
March 1, 2026

Nepal Evergreen is pleased to welcome Raju to the team. An agriculture graduate with a strong interest in sustainable farming, soil health, and ecosystem restoration, Raju will play an important role in supporting our growing tree-planting programmes across the region.

His work will include field verification of plantation sites, soil carbon sampling, and biodiversity monitoring, helping us better understand the environmental impact of our projects. These measurements are an important part of ensuring that our plantations are not only supporting local communities but also improving soil health and restoring degraded land.

Raju is also developing skills in drone technology and remote sensing, which will help us map plantation areas, monitor tree growth, and bring more precise data into our environmental work. Alongside this, he works closely with farmers to identify crop diseases and find practical, workable solutions that can improve farm productivity and resilience.

As Nepal Evergreen continues to expand its planting programmes, Raju’s technical knowledge and field experience will help strengthen our work with farmers and communities. We are delighted to have him join the team and look forward to seeing his contribution to future projects. 🌱
