Syangboche, nestled at 3,750 meters in Nepal’s Khumbu region, features a diverse range of native Himalayan trees, including rhododendrons, junipers, silver firs, birches, alders, blue pines, hemlocks, and willows. This picturesque location not only offers breathtaking views of Everest but also serves as a crucial stop for trekkers, showcasing the rich biodiversity of the Himalayan landscape.
Our goal is to raise funds to plant these 2,000 trees by 2025. With your support, we can make a significant impact on preserving the natural beauty and biodiversity of Everest National Park. Join us in our mission to protect this precious environment for generations to come. Our planting sites are located at Thame, Syangboche, Khunde, Khumjung, and Deboche, where the trees, with their resilient nature, help stabilize soil and prevent erosion. Rhododendrons add vibrant colours to the landscape and provide habitats for various wildlife species.
